Annual General Meeting
The Windmill Estate Resident Panel Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 25 February.       The meeting was an opportunity to put questions to the contractors carrying out the work (Kier Partnership Homes), to Accent Nene staff and also to hear from Can Do Communities about the community development projects they will be working on with the panel and local residents.

 Fun and games dayssack race
In August 2008 and 2009 there were fun and games in Fulbourn when the residents’ panel and Accent Nene invited the children of Fulbourn to take part in various activities on the recreation ground. As well as a very competitive game of rounders, there was giant twister, sack races, tug of war and a goalie shoot out to keep the young people occupied during the day. Kier and the local community police officers also joined in the fun and the picnic lunch provided gave everyone the chance for a bit of a breather.

Ceramic tile making
On 22 August 2008 Andy Tanser led an Art and Craft Workshop at the community house at Dunmowe Way. The children enjoyed working with clay and light refreshments were provided for those who came along.

Fulbourn Feast

We again this year had a pitch at the Fulbourn Feast, this was to promote the Windmill development, and the Fulbourn Good Neighbour Scheme.

There was a chance for everyone to participate in some fun competitions, including Hook a Duck and Treasure Map, these activities raised £63.00 and was donated to Cambridgeshire charity Camsight.
